Wow, there's a lot of info in this stuff.

Even though the police can't find Rich Hughes to talk to them, Rick is talking to the Oxford Weekly Planet. Love it!

I love the Weekly Planet Blog! It has so much extra information that we don't get in the interviews, etc. Today's is mostly about Melvin Roberts, but also a little bit of info about Rich Hughes.

So, The Weekly Blog received a letter from Rick Hughes, addressed to the public.

I think Rick is sort of egotistical. That letter is all about himself and that the police have no right to question him about his personal relationship with Monica Drum. Why is he so concerned about that?

I wonder if he's planning to stay hidden forever. I doubt that The Eagle will hold his job open too long. When is he hiding out. The letter was signed below Rick's name by someone named Kemper Jones. So, it appears that he all ready has an attorney.

What do you think?

Also, I saw where Rick was saying that he is hiding out because he is afraid that whoever killed Monica might be after him as well. Why on earth would he think that?
Actually as a person of interest, they can ask him about his relationship with her. They just haven't identified him as such....yet.

Maybe he is in on the gambling, too. Maybe both he and Monica were blackmailing someone together. That could be a reason for him to be hiding out and thinking whoever killed Monica might be out to get him, too.
I think it's curious that the police aren't searching a little harder for Rick.
