Oh shoot, EasTexasTic, I didn't realize that you had more and I was posting while you were. I need to go back and read the rest of your board.

ROSE PEARSON:
1.Thinks she is Elvis' biggest fan. She even has one of his scarves that he used on stage.
2. When Elvis died, she had to be hospitalized.
3. Neighbors say she is usually sweet but she does have a temper. She stutters when she is angry.
4.Her best friend said when she heard about Jared and the letters, something snapped in her.
5. She went to the convention with the intention of killing Jared but said someone got to him first. She would never have stabbed him. It was too messy. She was going to put rat poison in his drink.
6. She saw another tribute artist that had taken off the costume and wadded it up. She was so upset about the disrespect to the costume that she didn't notice what way he went or what he looked like.
7. Said she was standing in the lobby when Jared was killed but didn't know what happened until the police came.

QUENTIN EVANS:
1.His daughter was an Elvis fanatic and killed herself when Elvis died.
2. Said he had devoted his life to trying to stop people's obsessions with pop icons so their parents wouldn't have to go through what he did. He came to the convention with the intention of confronting Jared and to try to stop him.
3. Said he would never kill Jared because that would then make him a martyr.
4. He was at the center Friday night but didn't get to talk to Jared so he left. When he came back the next morning, Jared was already dead.
5. Said he saw Elvis come running right at him and that he had blood on his clothes but he didn't realize it was blood at the time.
6. He also saw a woman holding an Elvis suit as he was on his way out.

CARL WARREN:
1. Needs to be the center of attention so he developed the Elvis Faithful. Sounds like a cult be he insists it is a religion based on Elvis.
2.Carl claimed he was not concerned about the letters and what was in t hem but he got anxious when the detectives asked him, "what if they are real?" and wanted to know if they had them and if they had read them. When they said they couldn't discuss that, he went back to being calm and insisted that he wasn't concerned about losing members.
3. Said a little negativity about Elvis would only show his followers that if Elvis could overcome something, then they could too.
4. He and his wife got a room at the hotel despite the fact that they lived in town. He said she became suddenly sick Friday night and they went home instead of staying at the hotel. Could be he didn't want anyone to talk to her and what better way to keep people away from her than by saying she had the flu?
5. Said he didn't come back to the center until after Jared was dead.

TAYLOR BOYD:
1. Became friends with Jared and then developed a business partnership with him. They were going to publish a book together.
2. Jared found out about the letters Joy had and sent Taylor all over the place to find them when he already knew where they were because Kelly told him about them. This was his opportunity to have an affair with Yvonne.
3. When Jared got the letters on his own, he dumped Yvonne and ended his partnership with Jared in the same day.
4. Jared kept the contents of the letters to himself so he didn't know what was in them.
5. He said he forgave Yvonne for the affair but not Jared. Told some friends that he intended to vent his anger at Jared.
6. Said he was going for a walk before Yvonne got up but by the time he got downstairs, he was sick and ran to the bathroom and then went back upstairs instead of going for the walk. Yvonne had already left for work.

BUZZ DAKOTA:
1. Buzz was in the hotel both days keeping an eye on the Elvis clones.
2.He saw an Elvis clone turn into a woman and another one turn into a man.
3. He was so close to the woman that he got scared and ran to hide. Said the Elvis man started running too.
4. Told Yvonne he would go to the police and tell them what she had done if she didn't cancel the conference. What did he think she did?

Okay, 'now' I've read them all. My big problem is that when I get excited about something, I can't wait to jump in. Sorry EasTexasTic.

You have worked hard on that board and put a lot into it. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. It's very thorough. We've got a lot of suspects and most of them have lied about something or other, so it makes it hard to settle on just one.

At this point, I still have my top suspects as the same ones you have settled on. We'll have to wait and see if something else pops up that changes our minds. We need to see the results from search warrants.

Madison, where do you stand on this?

coroner's report:
1. There were 5 stab wounds. 2 were fatal and 3 were not.
2.The stab wounds on the right side were the fatal blows.
3. The injury to the head was a blunt force trauma but not a fatal wound. The knife would not make such a blow. What was Jared hit in the head with and where is it? Do we have to attackers?
4. The stab wound to the right forearm indicates a defensive wound.
5. No drugs or alcohol were in his system. Did Jared not drink at the party?
6.Direction of the stab wounds indicates the attacker was probably right handed.
7. Blood sample under the body are type B+. Jared's blood type is B+. Either the blood is Jared's, or the attacker has the same blood type. It is more consistant with the victim because of the stab wounds but that is not conclusive at this point, pending a DNA analysis.

POSSIBLE CONCLUSION:
Jared was walking along and someone came up behind him and hit him on the head. He turned to face his attacker, saw a knife and put up his arm in defense which then cause the attacker to stab him in the right side of his chest, piercing his lung. Jared then turned away to run and the attacker stabbed him on the left side of his back as he turned away. The attacker then stabbed Jared once more on the right side of the back after he fell down and it also pierced the lung.

Lol. That's ok Scarlett. I get excited and wound up in this stuff too. Yvonne and Sonya are still my top suspects but I have considered the idea that Yvonne and Taylor were in this together but I'm not sure at this point about it.
I think we need to talk to Buzz and see if there isn't some way they can get a description out of him as to what the Elvis woman and man looked like. I think he definately saw something.
I want to include Alison in the search warrants. She is just a little too cool about all of this.

You mentioned the blunt force blow to his head, which I had totally forgotten. Since that blow didn't knock him out, it makes me think we are right in thinking a woman might be the murderer. I think if a man hit him, it would knock him out, and not only that, would a man even hit him in the head first, or just get right to the stabbing?

Like you, I want to know where and what that weapon is.
