A single-use ink strip consists of two pieces plastic film coated with a thin layer of fingerprint ink.
To use, peel the two halves of film apart and roll the fingers on either of the two exposed surfaces. A fine, thin layer of jet-black fingerprint ink is transferred to the fingers. The fingers are then rolled on a standard fingerprint card, producing clean, sharp prints.
- An ink strip is a sanitary method
- A large, two-piece ink strip, is enough for a single fingerprint card.
