I received the attached search warrant July 16, 2020 and have executed it as follows:

On July 18, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., I searched the person or premises described in the warrant and left a copy of the warrant with on premises.

 

INVENTORY OF PERSON OR PROPERTY TAKEN PURSUANT TO THE WARRANT

Residence

  • 003419-34: One (1) men's short-sleeved cotton knit t-shirt, yellow with dark reddish-brown stains
  • 003419-35: One (1) pair of men's denim pants, blue with dark stains
  • 003419-36: One (1) pair of men's coveralls, blue with dark stains
  • 003419-37: One (1) pair of men's athletic shoes, white, size 9.5
  • 003419-38: One (1) men's undershirt, white with dark reddish-brown stains
  • 003419-39: One (1) men's dress shirt, fuchsia with dark reddish-brown stains

Biological Samples

  • 003419-40 through 003419-41: Two (2) hair samples from Benito Flores
  • 003419-42 through 003419-43: Two (2) blood samples from Benito Flores
  • 003419-44 through 003419-45: Two (2) standard fingerprint cards with full fingerprint sets from Benito Flores

To Detective Sam Murphy and any Authorized Officer of Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi.

Affidavit(s) having been made before me by Detective Sam Murphy

who has reason to believe that on the premises known as

594 Hathorn Road, Oxford, MS which is a residential apartment in a free-standing, two-story multi-family building, which apartment is shown by property management records as leased to and occupied by Benito Flores and Raquel Santos;

in Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi, there is now concealed a person or property, namely

Men's athletic shoes, size 8-11; clothing, shoes or other items with apparent bloodstains; U.S. paper currency totaling up to $15,000.00 with serial numbers matching those detailed in Appendix A;

and as I am satisfied that there is probable cause to believe that the person or property so described is now concealed on the person or premises above described and that grounds for application for issuance of the search warrant exist as stated in the supporting affidavit(s).

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to search on or before July 26, 2020 (not to exceed 10 days) the person or property specified, serving this warrant and making the search in the daytime (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.). If the person or property be found there seize same, leaving a copy of this warrant and receipt for the person or property taken and prepare a written inventory of the person or property seized and promptly return this warrant to US Judge or Magistrate,
