Man Found Dead in Oxford

Police are investigating the murder of Jackson Walker, age 29, whose body was discovered in his home late Saturday night. Police were alerted to his death by an anonymous call. According to investigators, Walker was found dead amid suspicious circumstances. No cause of death was available at the time of this report.

Walker was employed by the University of Mississippi's Southern Studies Department. Walker's department head described him as “a fun-loving man that almost everyone loved.”
